It conforms to both the Google Gadgets Api and the OpenSocial Api, making it easy to install on any website, including social networking sites that support the Google Gadgets Api or Orkut and is linked to your eBay Campaign ID earning revenue.

eBars comes in many forms:
- a Google Gadget
- a classic (text only) eBar
- an rss-style (with photos) sidebar eBar
- a snippet-style (with photos) main page eBar
- a single “Mini Ad” adbar
- a newsfeed eBar

There are a number of customization options available for eBars:
- specify your own keywords (and/or exclude keywords)
- use (nearly) any eBay site (including international sites)
- scrolling / non-scrolling option
