I recently wrote about my frustration with Google’s AdSense Publisher Policy Violation and review process.
I do understand that many Google functions including reviews are ‘automated’ with an appeal being processed dynamically as well.
I received the message below, telling me what I have already told Google, but it’s not listening.
It’s another one of these instances where automation causes more work and frustration than it solves.
Now Mr Google (yes, I know you’re reading this).. you’re customer (yes, me), needs a way of interacting with you (yes, you) when the automation process breaks.
In this example, we decided not to have Google Adverts on this web site (none). That’s pretty simple isn’t it?
Looking at the 2 ways of resolving this (Policy Center)
- Fix the violations on all pages of your site and request a review
- Remove the AdSense ad code from non-compliant pages and request a review
There needs to be Option 3: Remove all AdSense ad code from this site and request a review.
Google does include a Remove All option* (see below) but the violation remains in my Policy Center.
In short, I want the violation removed from our Google Adsense Policy Center.
AdSense Publisher Policy Violation Appeal
Hello,
We received your appeal request but we noticed that the URL submitted in the form leads to a page that doesn’t have any AdSense ad code on it. Before we can consider your appeal, you’ll need to make sure to include the URL of a page with ad code, even if ad serving to your site googleeyed.com.au is temporarily disabled.
Once you’ve re-added AdSense ad code, submit a second appeal by visiting our Help Center.
When you submit the appeal, enter the URL of the page with ad code into the “Affected Site URL” field.
Alternatively, if you permanently removed all ad code from the non-compliant page then please provide an example of a compliant page in your site with ad code in the appeal form.
*Lastly, if you all delete AdSense ad code from your entire site and you no longer intend to use AdSense on the site in the future, then you don’t need to submit an appeal.
You can find more detailed information in our help center regarding AdSense program policies.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team
