We find this feature a little frustrating.
The indexing report is very helpful, showing pages that Google has chosen another page, except sometimes there are good reasons why Google is incorrect.
Simply.. the same content can be relevant and indexible across multiple domains.
For example
Two different states of Australia can publish an event that is identical in both states..
- Victoria
- New South Wales
Events
- National – a good example is Be Kind Day.. held on the 8th March each year across multiple states.
- International – a good example is International Women’s Day.. held worldwide on the 8th March each year across multiple states.
- National Ride2Work Day = October every year – helps everyday people to jump on a bike and get active on their way to work. The information in the event listing is the same in every state because the message is the same = this Wednesday, get on your bike.
Search Console does not take this into account?
Spot on.. Google treats every website the same specially websites with events.
